Why this exists
Most "free" security tool sites either gate the useful parts behind a signup, or bury the tool under ads and affiliate links. TechBrosHub takes the opposite approach: the client-side tools (hashing, JWT decoding, password generation, subnet math) run entirely in your browser and never touch a server. The lookup tools that do need a backend — IP, WHOIS, CVE, breach and SSL checks — are proxied through our own server so you're never asked to create an account or hand over an API key just to run a query.
What you'll find here
Two things, kept separate on purpose: a toolkit for the checks you run during a shift, and a blog for the reading you do around it — CVE breakdowns written in plain English, tutorials for people early in a SOC career, and career notes on the path from analyst to researcher.
How it's run
TechBrosHub is an independent project, not a vendor-backed platform. It's maintained alongside a day job in security operations, so updates are steady rather than constant. If a tool breaks or an API changes upstream, the contact page is the fastest way to flag it.
